With the ADORABLE designer, Erin Fetherston.
Hey y’all!! I love any look that has a ladylike element, so I’m OBVS obsessed with my second NYFW look for the Erin Fetherston show. I felt super feminine, yet still like a boss B, if you know what I mean. I love the unexpected mint and gold clutch with it (it might actually be my favorite clutch of all time). I wanted the look to feel a little whimsical, because Erin Fetherston’s designs aways make me feel that way!
So once I was 4 blocks away, I made a bold move… I literally jumped out the car, took my heels off and ran barefoot in the not-so-clean streets of New York City until I got to the fashion week doors.
Funny side note about this lovely outfit: It was my first day in New York, I got off the plane at 6:00 am, was in traffic until 8:30, and had only 20 minutes to do hair, make up and styling for my first show (and ALL after a redeye flight… totes ideal). I mean, who can get ready in 20 minutes?! After the show I ran back to the apartment, where I had only 4… that’s right, 4 minutes… to change into this outfit. There was so much traffic, it was raining, & I wasn’t sure I was going to make the Erin Fetherston show. At this point, I’m feeling desperate and panic is setting in. So once I was 4 blocks away, I made a bold move… I literally jumped out the car, took my heels off and ran barefoot in the not-so-clean streets of New York City until I got to the fashion week doors. It was probably the most unelegant arrival from anyone the entire week. Sweaty, rained on, barefooted Stassi… arriving at a fashion show. Cool, cool, cool….
I made it, though 😉
